Intended Audience: Everyone

When working in pharmacy informatics, you may be asked to work on multiple projects. Sometimes, that comes with logging your specific time spent on those projects. This feels like double documenting, but why is this important? Today, we discuss this a little bit more.

For some EHRs, the Arden Syntax structure is embraced because of how organized it is, but the actual syntax is not followed.

For more information about Arden Syntax, check out the following links: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/325997146_Achieving_Interoperability_Between_Arden-Syntax-Based_Clinical_Decision_Support_and_openEHR-Based_Data_Systems https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4419950/ https://www.hl7.org/implement/standards/product_brief.cfm?product_id=2
